I plan on using this article, which I found on ArticlesPlus, to help support my construct. This article discusses how the standards of writing did not fit with all forms of writing. In the 18th century, several newspapers, pamphlets, and short narratives did not meet the laws of former, old style writing. Francis Bacon, John Locke and several other philosophers began to investigate whether specific language in every form of writing needed to be a specified law or not.
